Industrial Ethernet Cable

Our industrial Ethernet cables provide reliable high-speed communication (10 Mbps to 10 Gbps) in harsh environments. They are resistant to heat, vibration, chemicals, water, and UV radiation—ideal for manufacturing, automation, and machinery.

 

Available from Cat 5e to Cat 7A, in 2P and 4P versions (AWG26 – AWG22), with robust protective jacket and UL certifications (UL 758, UL 444) for easy system approval and long service life.

BUS Cable

Our bus cables ensure reliable data transmission in industrial automation and control systems – even under harsh conditions. They are robust against EMI and mechanical stress and ideal for fieldbus and process control applications. Our bus cables support protocols such as CAN, RS485, Profibus, Profinet, DMX/DALI, and more, offer transmission rates up to the Mbps range, and are available in AWG 26 and up to 0.5 mm².

Control and instrumentation

Our solutions include:

  • Symmetrical cables for industrial controls up to 60V – ideal for building and home automation with small space requirements, flame retardant protection.

Fire-resistant cables and tunnel cables

Firetuf® data cables ensure the functionality of critical systems such as alarms and signal transmission in the event of a fire. They transmit data for 2 hours at 950°C, meet strict standards, and are LU approved and BRE tested. The copper cables offer Category 5 performance (100 Mbps) with 22 AWG solid wires.

 

The flexible MAX-FOH PAGA and PAGAS cables are fire-resistant, chemical-resistant and ideal for applications such as public address and alarm systems in tunnels, subways and petrochemical plants.

Renewable energy

For solar power plants and PV parks where real-time data communication between panel strings and automation or monitoring devices is critical, Prysmian offers dedicated BUS and data cables. They ensure reliable communication for performance monitoring, system diagnostics, and remote management. Our communication cables enable high-performance data transmission for automation, monitoring, and control systems.
